We'll be posting stories and snippets of information on local history as they come in to our new Stories page. We've organised it as a blog so that you can easily see stay up to date with the latest discussions and add your own information or comments. An informal meeting of the group brainstormed future ideas tonight, lubricated by the usual excellent fare from The Volunteer.

Individual research into specific local buildings, streets or events will be fed into the website and this will then provide material for further exhibitions, talks and publications.

In the immediate future, areas of interest include Godwins Tiles, a local air crash, the 'Volunteer's Volunteer' and Empire Day events.

Reports on exciting developments around the row ditch behind Park Street, and news from the Rotherwas Munitions project will also be researched and published.

Plans were discussed for a presence at forthcoming events such as the Castle Green Fayre.
