Jubilee Event at Scouts Corner Bartonsham History Group will be looking at Historical Street Parties in the area, including the gathering for the original Coronation event in 1953, which we hope to recreate for the platinum Jubilee. Maybe you or someone you know is in these photos? Visit our Pop Up Stall, to look at the pictures and other memorabilia, listen to the Fire Choir singing and enjoy some Tea and Cakes to raise some funds for the Ukraine appeal. Take your own snaps in our themed Picture Booth, and bring your family, to be a part of our Community Photo for this special occasion.' |

Congratulations to Ian Broom of Park Street and runners-up Sara Stringer from Tupsley, Paul Brinkworth from Park Street and George Hill from Moreton in Marsh. George writes: “I lived at 97 Green Street from 1953 until I joined the police service in 1966 and moved into one of the police houses in Vicarage Road. I was married at Saint James church in 1965. Bartonsham area has great memories for me.”
