A reminder that there’ll be our monthly meeting at The Volly on Monday March 7, 7.30pm. On the agenda will be the final approval of the church leaflet and insurance for future events.
BHG Meeting: The Volunteer, Feb 1

Feb – no event
March – Ian hoping to arrange talk by Tim Hoverd on Row Ditch
April – Heather Hurley on the River Wye and its traffic, The Barrels, Wednesday April 27.
– Pop Up display (Christine and Linda to design the boards) and memory booth during the River Carnival (Pete to investigate if we can use Pavilion. Volunteers needed.)
May – Linda looking at a talk from Chris Atkinson
June – A Midsummer History Walk, to coincide with Walking Festival. (Bill to liaise with Lisa Richardson on Festival publicity).
Event posters: Christine will produce posters when she has received text and images.
Christine’s draft design discussed. Bill to liaise with St James church.
Linda reported £45 in donations from the Winter Walk, £100 in float and £200 held on BHG behalf by Community Association.
Public liability: we talked about making BHG a constituted group (on agenda for next meeting). Bill to check insurance cover with Community Association.
Ami described 19th century history of Hunderton Court and discovery of a possible ice house.
